OK, a lot done before 11am....since I found the saws(sad little things as they are) They worked nicely. The plastic is not that cheap brittle kind that is used on nearly everything made for US markets.....I measured, incised the spot with an old diamond nail file, put some duct tape on the whole length of where I needed to cut and started....I learned rather soon( 2 minutes?) that pressure was not needed just the saw motion. Went to the hack saw ....bottom line ....the cut is made, and the cut e...  more

An interesting day of not much…I changed the dressing on Q and the wound is stapled not the tidiest row but I have no idea how these are suppose to look, except it is clean and nothing draining. Although those staple will need to come out so I think Q will need to go back to the dreaded Beantown. They changed the date of his follow up. First night home was OK. We had breakfast neither of us ate yesterday at all. We got a few things done. I read the paperwork that came home with him and they are such liars, the PT said she had worked with him every day and showed him all the things he needed to be released. The release form had all his vitals recorded and nothing was done…no BP, no nothing yet there are numbers on the print out Liars Cheaters and well I have more to say later! I needed that A/C brought up into the main part of...  more

We are home. Q is home. I am appalled at the treatment he got. And his requests for simple things were not granted and should have been since they are a right of a patient in a hospital...Not one session of PT, just a 5 minutes meeting and never saw the PT again...yet her report reads like a model of how to treat people! The Gall! I hate that place.....and I formally curse them...He has gone to bed, he is in major pain...and in 4 days no one even washed him! or helped him wash!....It has been a ...  more

I am off to the bus in Calais, it leaves at 9:30am. I will met Q in Bangor. He has been released from the Hell Hole of Mass General Hospital…He will need to make his way to the Concord Bus Terminal alone since there is no help available once he is out of the taxi. Calais is 12 miles away so I need to leave with time to pay for my ticket. And do the last bit of cat business. Thank-you all for your support….if you need a hospital DON”T go to Mass General In Boston….
