Today is apparently National Cake day, or at least that is what I was told by the intarwebs (NRK.no). So. I had to bake then, didn't I? Spice cake with powdered sugar frosting. Simple, but oh so good!

There was some kind of need for a coat of color on this... Trying to spruce up the house before we are selling it. Some things have been ignored for way too long. Not just by us, there was paint marks from the color we never painted this house with too!
Tibbs is very good at showing how tired he is at all times! Not often he is on my lap, but today he wanted some love. He'll become a nice lap cat when he gets older and has time for it.
