Updates, acceptable content and shortcuts as at 13th of March.
In brief: no porn, no child porn, no hate speech, no harassment/intimidation/threats, no spamming either publicly or via messages, no solicitation of any kind, no "single ladies looking for long term relationship ... chat to me" type profiles [you know the kind] and no posts with multiple embedded links to other sites which are aimed at either selling stuff or gathering personal details. Any of the above WILL get you banned and reported to the authorities [if necessary].

YouMe Social has strict rules as to what can be posted here. If you believe that somebody has broken those rules you can flag the post to us. Go to the 3 vertical dots at top right of the post, click on it and a drop down menu appears. Select "report activity".
It assists greatly if you include something to tell us why you are reporting it. Please take a screenshot, to ensure that evidence is preserved.
Your report is of course confidential.

Everyone can read the content without being a member. Everyone (except those banned) can freely join. The content may be publised on the Global timeline.
The group is only visible (even by searches) to members, and only members can read the content. Access is by invitation only, from a group admin. The content can be shared on the Global Timeline; BUT it is only displayed to, and can only be read by, a member.
Everyone can read the content without being a member. providing that access is given by a group admin. Content may be published on the Global timeline.
*The group type can be changed later.
*Unfortunately we have no option where a group is public and everyone can join, but one cannot see the content until joined.
*Groups are designed to encourage discussion by all members so they cannot (at present) be locked down for posts only by admin (we are exploring that option though, as we recognise that it could be useful for "collections for viewing only". Meanwhile, there is an alternative facility... "close comment" (via the 3 vertical dots) with which you can prevent comments)
*In all groups, the person who created it is the "owner" Admin. They alone are able to erase the group.
*In all groups, a member of their admin can remove members. Go to the link "members" (on the left), it holds the remove option. (If a group admin considers the reason for removal was something contrary to Youme Social rules, please report it to the Youme Social Admin)
