The most memorable was Eva P. Womble. She was a retired College Professor working for $5 a day cleaning white people's houses. I remember one day in the early 1950s she brought her grandson, Buzz, to work with her. I learned so much that day. We played like any other friends. Said it before and will say it again...the segregation [my schools were all white] deprived every one of us of so much....especially understanding
